Get ready for a fantastic evening of laughter as Cornwall’s favourite comedian, Johnny Cowling, returns with local band Jailhouse to Indian Queens Pit this August!
For more than 20 years, Johnny has entertained audiences across Cornwall with his unique blend of comedy, music and local humour. Bring your family and friends and enjoy an evening in one of Cornwall’s most unique outdoor venues.
Taking to the stage from 6pm, top Cornish band Jailhouse will provide the soundtrack to a brilliant evening. With something for everyone, Johnny and Jailhouse are guaranteed to get the party started!

Tickets
There is no need to book in advance.
Tickets are available on the gate only:
- Adults: £10
- Children: £5
Please note that cash payments are preferred. We do have a card machine but it can be slow at times! The nearest cash machine is located at Queens Garage.
Food & Refreshments
Refreshments, including delicious Cornish pasties, will be available from the Community Building throughout the evening.
Ice Cream will also be available from the Community Building.
You’re also very welcome to bring your own picnic and make the most of a summer evening at the Pit.
Parking
Parking at Indian Queens Pit is limited. If you live in the village, please consider walking to the event.
Additional parking is available at Indian Queens Club, just a short walk from the Pit. If parking on local roads, please be considerate of our neighbours.
Important Information
- Dogs are not permitted in the Pit, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
- Please help us keep the Pit looking beautiful by taking your rubbish home after the event.
