DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a fantastic evening of laughter as Cornwall’s favourite comedian\, Johnny Cowling\, returns with local band Jailhouse to Indian Queens Pit this August! \nFor more than 20 years\, Johnny has entertained audiences across Cornwall with his unique blend of comedy\, music and local humour. Bring your family and friends and enjoy an evening in one of Cornwall’s most unique outdoor venues. \nTaking to the stage from 6pm\, top Cornish band Jailhouse will provide the soundtrack to a brilliant evening. With something for everyone\, Johnny and Jailhouse are guaranteed to get the party started! \nEvent Information\nDate: Sunday 9th August 2026\nVenue: Indian Queens Pit\, Indian Queens\, Cornwall\nWet Weather Venue: Indian Queens Chapel. Keep an eye on our social media for venue change announcements. \nGates Open: 5:00pm\nEntertainment Starts: Approximately 6:00pm \nTickets\nThere is no need to book in advance. \nTickets are available on the gate only: \n\nAdults: £10\nChildren: £5\n\nPlease note that cash payments are preferred. We do have a card machine but it can be slow at times! The nearest cash machine is located at Queens Garage. \nFood & Refreshments\nRefreshments\, including delicious Cornish pasties\, will be available from the Community Building throughout the evening. \nIce Cream will also be available from the Community Building. \nYou’re also very welcome to bring your own picnic and make the most of a summer evening at the Pit. \nParking\nParking at Indian Queens Pit is limited. If you live in the village\, please consider walking to the event. \nAdditional parking is available at Indian Queens Club\, just a short walk from the Pit. If parking on local roads\, please be considerate of our neighbours. \nImportant Information\n\nDogs are not permitted in the Pit\, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.\nPlease help us keep the Pit looking beautiful by taking your rubbish home after the event.\n\nWe look forward to welcoming you for an evening full of laughter\, community spirit and great entertainment at Indian Queens Pit!
